DJ Khaled Releases The Behind-The-Scenes “Use This Gospel” Video With Ye And Dr. Dre

The songs that have received the most Spotify streams out of the 18 new songs released by DJ Khaled on Friday (August 26) are the title track “GOD DID” with Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, JAY-Z, John Legend, and Fridayy, Future and SZA’s collaboration on “BEAUTIFUL,” and the completely unexpected “USE THIS GOSPEL” remix of Kanye West’s Jesus Is King song.

In an interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, the father of two described how Ye’s song ended up on his album as a Dr. Dre-produced remix with Eminem. “It’s 8 in the morning, [Kanye] just showed up to my house…,” Khaled recalled. “We go to my studio. I play him music. He plays me music. We both inspiring each other. He plays me an incredible album that he did with one of my idols, Dr. Dre. He played it from top to bottom for me. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. We had a great get-together at the crib, he leaves.”

That occurred a year and a half ago, according to the “All I Do Is Win” singer, but more recently, he shared a concept with Ye, who agreed with it. By chance, Slim Shady and the co-founder of Beats Electronics agreed to assist Khaled, and the remix was subsequently created.
