“Donda 2” Listening Event In Miami Announced By Kanye West

Kanye West announces the first listening event for “Donda 2” to be later this month.

Kanye West has announced that a listening event for his upcoming album, Donda 2, will be down at LoanDepot Park in Miami on Tuesday, February 22. The listening event is slated for the day West had previously said Donda 2 would drop. Future executively produces the project, and that is everything known about the highly anticipated follow-up to West’s 2021 album, Donda.

West hosted three presumably similar stadium listening events during the rollout to his last album. At that time, YE reportedly lived at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium while finishing up Donda.

After speculation that there would be little to no time off between projects, the formal announcement came from Steven Victor on January 3 2022, with the manager to the stars informing Complex that “Ye has started working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2.”

This would be the first time Ye would formally release a sequel to an album. However, the project has quickly become one of the most talked-about records of the year and is bound to live up to expectations. Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Monday.
