Drake, Ye, And Kendrick Lamar Lead 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards Nominations, See Full List

The BET Hip Hop Awards nominees have been revealed, and Kanye West and Drake are leading the pack with 14 and 10 nods, respectively.

Both West and Drake are up for the Hip Hop Album Of The Year award for their respective albums from last year, “Donda” and “Certified Lover Boy,” against Kendrick Lamar for “Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers”, Pusha T for “It’s Almost Dry”, Future for “I Never Liked You”, and Nas for “King’s Disease II”.

Notably, Drake has been nominated three times in two categories: Best Collaboration (for “21” with 21 Savage, “Wait For U” with Future and Tems, and “Way 2 Sexy” with Future and Young Thug) and Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse. He has also been nominated twice in two categories: Best Hip Hop Video and Song Of The Year.

There are three nominations for Future’s song “Wait For U,” which also features Drake and Tems, and three nominations for Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy,” the lead single from “Certified Lover Boy.” Cardi B’s “Hot Shit,” a song she made with Kanye West and Lil Durk, has received three nominations this year, for Song of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video, and Best Collaboration.

Tems received four nominations, Young Thug and Lil Durk each received three, and Doja Cat and Latto each received two.
