Ed Sheeran Announces To Drop New Song With Taylor Swift On Friday

Ed Sheeran has now confirmed that his latest collaboration with Taylor Swift will be released on Friday, February 11. In recent weeks, the anticipated song has been the subject of speculation, with fans of Taylor presuming that she will get a feature on a retouched version of Sheeran’s 2021 song ‘The Joker And The Queen’.

Speaking at the BRIT Awards, Sheeran shared with LADbible that his next single “comes out on Friday and it’s with Taylor Swift”.

“We’re literally announcing that in like an hour,” Sheeran added. Still, the single has not been officially announced by either Sheeran or Swift.

Last year, Ed revealed that he had once taken Swift to his local pub, The Station in Framlingham in Suffolk, to get a drink, but “no one really clocked who it was”.

The pair had last collaborated on ‘Run’, taken off ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’, and have also previously performed duets on 2012’s ‘Everything Has Changed‘ and 2017’s ‘End Game‘.

Ed Sheeran won the BRIT Award for Songwriter of the Year and was presented with the award by Succession actor Brian Cox. Ed also performed together with Bring Me The Horizon on stage during the ceremony, with the two class acts recreating Sheeran’s hit single, “Bad Habits”.
