Ed Sheeran’s New Documentary Arrives This Week

On Thursday, November 24, at 9:15 p.m., the Ed Sheeran: Full Circle series debuts on Channel 9 and the 9Now streaming platform, immediately following the broadcast of the 2018 ARIA Awards. The documentary follows Sheeran’s life and performances while he promoted his four math-themed albums, +, =, x, and.

The documentary primarily focuses on his performances at London’s renowned Wembley Stadium, which took place over five nights in June and July 2022. The tour originally began in Ireland in April of that year. The documentary gives you a behind-the-scenes look at “one of, if not the biggest and most complex touring productions ever,” according to Mushroom Group CEO Matt Gudinski.

“Full Circle takes you behind the scenes and gives you an exclusive look at how Ed and his team have pulled this spectacular show together and delivered the fans an amazing live experience,” Gudinski stated in a press release. “I simply can’t wait for Australian fans to see the Mathematics tour in 2023. This is a must-watch for any Ed Sheeran or live music fan.”

The first of two upcoming documentaries from the musician, titled Ed Sheeran: Full Circle, will focus more on his music than his life. The second, unnamed project will be about his life. You’re in luck since Sheeran’s Mathematics tour will be stopping in Australia in February if viewing the documentary has you itching to see him live and in person.

Sheeran will play three New Zealand concerts during his Australasian tour before traveling across the Tasman to perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.
