Multi-talented star delivers "Dance the Night," a new single for Barbie movie soundtrack, and co-designs a collection with Versace
London, UK – Grammy-winning artist Dua Lipa has unveiled her latest single, “Dance The Night,” from the much-anticipated Barbie movie soundtrack. Adding another feather to her cap, the pop sensation has also launched her co-designed women’s collection, “La Vacanza,” with Versace, which is already receiving rave reviews.
“Dance The Night,” an upbeat summer anthem, marks the first release from the forthcoming BARBIE THE ALBUM. The track, produced in collaboration with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, was showcased in the movie’s official trailer, which debuted today. The music video, featuring an appearance by Barbie’s director, Greta Gerwig, shows Dua sporting pieces from her new Versace collection.
The album, executive produced by Ronson and Gerwig, is slated for release on July 21st to coincide with the movie premiere. Fans can expect new tracks from an array of international stars and a special appearance by Dua Lipa herself in the film.
In addition to her musical ventures, Dua Lipa and Donatella Versace showcased their “La Vacanza” collection at a runway show on the French Riviera. The collection, a celebration of summer and the friendship between the two icons, revisits Versace classics.
