Fivio Foreign Describes Chris Brown As Michael Jackson Of Our Generation

When it comes to Chris Brown, there is never a lack of controversy around him all his career. From often ridiculous comparisons with legends in the industry as a newbie to scandals about physical assault and relationship issues, the R&B maestro has seen it all. However, lately, the American singer appears to be enjoying good press as he has conducted his social affairs responsibly. The latest good media is a comparison with pop legend Michael Jackson.

The latest comparison, once touted as ridiculous, has been lately made by American rapper and songwriter Fivio Foreign. The 32-year old rapper thinks if anyone is close to the legendary Michael Jackson, it has to be Chris Brown.

Fivio made the declaration while responding to a Twitter poll by American producer Producer LondonOnDaTrack. The producer had asked in a survey for submissions on which artist could be considered closest to Michael Jackson; a post-Fivio enthusiastically quoted “Chris Brown”, hammering home his point with an exclamation mark.

Fivio is not the first contemporary artist to compare Chris Brown and Michael Jackson, with singers such as 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, Boosie Badazz, and others doing so as well. Brown recently commended Boosie for the comparison, whereas 50 has been criticised for suggesting Chris Brown is greater than Michael Jackson, and Bieber has compared Brown to a cross between MJ and 2Pac.

Both Chris B and Michael Jackson have similar identities in their careers, with the former seen as the artist who has modelled his career after the former. Both are singer-dancers known for their choreography, stage presence, and ability to impress a crowd with their voice and moves. Chris B has also publicly stated he draws inspiration from the Pop Legend.

While they both may have similar identities in their careers, Michael Jackson is still very much ahead of Chris Brown. Therefore, it is unsurprising that many Twitter users disagree with Fivio on this take.
