For The New “R&B Season” Playlist Update, FKA Twigs Has A “Killer” Track

HotNewHipHop is back with a big selection of R&B bangers for you to check out this week, following an outstanding Saturday run on their Fire Emoji update. The first track on their playlist is Steve Lacy’s “Mercury,” a nearly 5-minute track that delves into the sounds of ’60s Brazilian bossa nova and will be on his upcoming album, Gemini Rights, due out this summer.

Then comes “Falling Back,” a track off Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind album. The 6 god released a music video for the album’s second title, in which he marries over 20 ladies with fellow Canadian Tristan Thompson as his best man.

Chris Brown is making his presence felt with the debut of his collaborative effort with WizKid, “Call Me Every Day,” which he previously hinted, while Diddy chose Bryson Tiller to accompany him on “Gotta Move On” (a song obviously loved Yung Miami).

Chlöe’s excellent series of solo singles continues with the release of “Surprise,” a seductive new song, followed by FKA Twigs’ “Killer,” which the English vocalist made its debut during her Tiny Desk (Home) Concert earlier this week.

“Tarantino” by Xavier Omär is the final track in this week’s R&B Season update. Check out the Spotify playlist below.
