Funke Akindele Hails Portable’s Artistry In New Post

Street-hop musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has received acclaim from Nigerian politician and actress Funke Akindele for his persona. So when Portable performed live on Echo Room, the former deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state was pleased. Funke Akindele asserted that the Zazuu star is real and urged other entertainers to emulate him.

She aimed to convince artists that having a distinctive and original style is essential if they want to succeed in the business.

After finally addressing her loss at the concluded governorship elections, the actress feels lighter, or so it seems from the video above. Rhodes-Vivour received 312,329 votes, but the governor of Lagos State received 762,134 votes to win. With 62,449 votes, Jide Adediran (Jandor) of the PDP finished in a distant third place.

Akindele, the PDP candidate for deputy governor, said in a string of tweets on Monday that her road to the ballot had been fantastic and enlightening and that, he must admit, it had been a major learning curve for her. She continued by saying many things have been learned and unlearned, and she didn’t regret deciding to run for office. In the same vein, she appreciated Lagosians for their support.
