Future Alleges His Exes “All Were Toxic To Me”

Future discussed his past relationships, his career, and more in GQ’s May 2022 issue in which he was featured as the cover star. The lifestyle and culture mag crowned the “High Off Life” rapper “The Best Rapper Alive” in the editorial.

A writer for the outlet, Elliott Wilson, explored Future’s music career together with his public reputation as a talented artist and as Hip-Hop’s reigning king of toxicity. For Future, though, the experiences he had seems a bit more complicated than what meets the public eye, apparently.

With different children born to different mothers and having had public relationships with R&B singer Ciara, then-wife of Scottie Pippen, Larsa Pippen, and socialite, Lori Harvey, Future often finds himself in the thick of social media controversies. The Atlanta-bred artist, who also has a frequency of rapping about his “Rotation”, cleared a few things up with the magazine.

“People have their own definition of what toxic is,” Future shared with GQ. “[These women] all were toxic to me. They just don’t want to admit it.”

Moving past the allegations of who is and isn’t toxic, Future also touched on his music career, which has given rise to eight studio albums, four collaborative albums, one reissued album, one soundtrack, 16 mixtapes, four commercial mixtapes, and over 100 singles.
