GRAMMY Nominations 2023: View The Full List of Nominees
The official 2023 Grammy Award nominees have been announced, and it’s time to face the music.
The Recording Academy announced its contenders for the 65th Grammy Awards on Tuesday, but let’s face it, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are already clear favorites to win this year. Jay-Z garnered three nominations, while the Renaissance artist leads the field with nine. Beyoncé now shares the record for the most Grammy nominations ever with her husband with 88 nominations each.
Behind Beyoncé in terms of nominations are Kendrick Lamar with eight, Brandi Carlile and Adele with seven each, Mary J. Blige, Future, and Harry Styles with six each. For her 10-minute song “All Too Well” and its companion short film, which Swift wrote and directed and starred Stranger Things actors Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, Taylor Swift also received nominations for Song of the Year and Best Music Video.
Harvey Mason Jr., the CEO of the Recording Academy, was joined by a stellar cast of performers for the live-streamed announcement, including Jimmie Allen, Luis Fonsi, John Legend, Machine Gun Kelly, Smokey Robinson, and Olivia Rodrigo. They all contributed to revealing the coveted shortlist. Dan + Shay and Cyndi Lauper both gave performances.
