Gunna Reveals He Considered Pushing Back Release Of “One Of Wun”

Although the much-discussed beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has cooled down, its effects on the hip-hop scene are still being discussed. Gunna’s fifth studio album, “One of Wun,” was released during this time. Despite the distraction caused by the feud, the album has done well. It is expected to sell roughly 60,000–70,000 album-equivalent units in its first week of release, a little less than “A Gift & a Curse,” his previous album. During a recent airport conversation with TMZ, Gunna discussed whether he had considered postponing the album’s release to keep the feud from taking centre stage. He stated that it never crossed his mind, emphasizing his intense focus on his work and tendency to overlook external distractions. Overall, Gunna’s latest project has been successful.

He explained,

“I’m in my own just… You know how that be. Like, I don’t even really see other sh*t that’s going on,””It’s hard to see.”

With all his new endeavours, Gunna’s admirers might understandably feel overburdened. Not only has he recently begun his “Bittersweet” tour, but he has also just released a new full-length record. In addition, he has declared that on June 5 of this year, his new clothing brand, P By Gunna, will debut. But things didn’t go as neatly as expected with the unveiling. Last week, an image of his P.B. Gunna billboard in New York City went viral on the internet, leading a budding artist to accuse the rapper of copying his logo on TikTok. The musician says he has been developing his brand for several years. Gunna has not yet responded to the charges. What do you think of Gunna’s recently released album, One of Wun?
