In recent years, Entertainers from almost all walks of life, have expressed delight at the huge talent emanating from the Afrobeat genre. Many International heavyweights have even collaborated with Afrobeats Stars on projects or have plans to do so soon.

The beauty and rave that the genre enjoys now cuts across vocations as popular Afrobeats songs can now be heard casually playing in pubs and choice locations around the globe. This has made many fall in love with the sound originally emanating from Africa. One of such “many” is Jules Kounde.

The Player appears to have become a devoted fan of Nigerian music, and he isn’t hesitant to express it. Jules Kounde, a standout defender for Barcelona, has discussed Nigerian afrobeats celebrity Burna Boy’s talent.

The French international footballer is well-known for frequently sharing Afrobeats music on his social media pages. He once sent a personal Instagram message to Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez expressing how much he enjoyed his new album “Young Preacher.”

In a recent interview, Kounde mentioned Lil Baby’s “In a Minute,” Dave’s “Starlight,” and then “Burna Boy” when asked about the three songs he’s been listening to, hinting that he doesn’t enjoy a certain song by the singer specifically but rather his craft in general. During the interview, Kounde said,

Burna Boy Makes Quality Music, I’ve been listening to his songs Lately.

This is another feather added to the genre’s Cap as more of the international community continues to vibe to the African sound.
