In Preparation For Her “Wicked” Role, Ariana Grande Displays A New Hair Color
As she begins shooting the eagerly anticipated film adaptation of the smash musical Wicked, Ariana Grande is showcasing her new style. The singer/actor showed off her golden hair to the crowd, which she’ll be sporting in the part of Glinda the Good. Grande jokingly scribbled “new earrings” in the photo’s caption.
Supportive remarks and anticipation for her upcoming role poured in from fans in the comments. Jordan Barrow, who plays the part of Boq in the Broadway production of Wicked, wrote, “Good news, She’s HERE,” making reference to the song, “No One Mourns The Wicked” from the musical. “Earrings look great,” wrote the post’s author Jon Chu in a comment.
Fans were thrilled to see Ariana for the first time on set at the end of September since Wicked is scheduled to be released the next year. According to images obtained by E! News, the “7 Rings” singer and her husband, Dalton Gomez, were spotted walking along the set in London on Wednesday, September 28. Grande donned a brown jacket over a soft pink turtleneck blouse, while Gomez wore dark jeans and a brown shirt. Both wore pink face masks to finish off their ensembles.
Since the summer, Ariana has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos with Cynthia Erivo on Instagram. She talked openly about the audition process for one of her dream roles earlier this year.
