Recently, Jim Jones and Maino have been in sync. The two New York heavy hitters formed The Lobby Boyz and released an album under that moniker last month. Their lyricism and flows are a fantastic complement, as the project demonstrated. Now the two are demonstrating their collaboration in a brand-new medium which is dancing!
Jim Jones shared a video of himself and Maino rehearsing their two-step on Instagram. “Lol naaaah they caught us practicing our #sturdy2step lol,” Jones captioned the video, thrilled by their own antics. “Lookin’ like the Temptations trying to get our dance moves right lol,” he joked.
Even though their dance isn’t quite as impressive as their rhyming, it’s evident they’re having a good time in the video. They try the two-step a few times, shouting directions at each other. However, “Lobby Boyz” by Jones and Maino has received a lot of praise. Benny The Butcher, Fivio Foreign, Styles P, Capella Grey, Fabolous, Young M.A., and others appear on the album.
Before the album was published, the two issued a few hard-hitting songs, including “Lobby Boyz Anthem” and “Slide,” which featured Fivio. Watch the duo bust their funny but cool moves below.
