Kanye West Cites A Beyoncé Song As His Favorite

Kanye West has revealed which track from Beyoncé’s Renaissance is his favorite.

To his 17 million Instagram followers, the rap icon has been posting some of his favorite songs, including the song “Church Girl” from the “Halo” hit-maker’s most recent album. “Favorite song on Beyoncé album,” he wrote as the description of a screenshot of the song from a streaming platform.

On 2011’s “Lift Off,” the singer of “Stronger” co-starred with the former Destiny’s Child member and her rapper husband Jay-Z. The 45-year-old celebrity also lauded DJ Khaled’s star-studded “God Did” single alongside Future’s “Wait 4 U” featuring Drake and Tems.

Ye also referred to Wizkid’s “Essence,” which also features Tems, as the “best song in music history to date.” The series of compliments come after John Legend talked about the “strain” that his political differences with Kanye, who officially changed his name to Ye, had on their friendship. The rapper, on his own end, has also been pretty outspoken on social media lately.

Just days after posting and deleting a series of posts against his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her family, Kanye issued a message on Instagram in which he said he “won’t back down” from his strong ideas on his children’s education or his businesses.
