Kel-P Drops His Debut EP “Bully Season Vol. 1”

Nigerian producer Kel-P has released Bully Season Vol.1, his first EP. Bully Season Vol.1, a five-track project released on Universal Music France International and Jones Worldwide. London, KDaGreat, Northboi, Krizbeatz, and Iotosh helped with production. Leandro “Dro” Hidalgo handled the mixing and mastering.

Kel-P, aka Kel-P Vibes, has spent years at the forefront of music production, working with artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Skip Marley, Rema, and Angélique Kidjo to create sounds that have gone on to win Grammys. Now, Kel-P is entering a new phase as he shows off his singing ability. The vocal prowess of Kel-P drives the collection, which features soundscapes from Afro-pop, Afrobeats, Dancehall, and hip-hop.

Kel-P has been working on a variety of projects, and most recently, he contributed a song to the “CREED III” soundtrack, which was directed by Michael B. Jordan. Also, he appeared on the production credits of a song from Wizkid’s most recent album, “More Love, Less Ego.” Nelly & Kelly Rowland’s “Dilemma” sampled instrumental, which melds perfectly with his powerful vocal performances, supports Kel-P’s seductive glides.

Commenting about his latest endeavor, Kel-P revealed that his career experience, including his successes and failures, relationships, and work ethic, served as the inspiration for the EP. He stated that he wants his listeners to be joyful and simply dance.
