Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” Sits Atop Spotify’s List Of Greatest Rap Songs Of The Last Decade

The greatest rap tracks of the streaming era, according to Spotify, have been released.

Kendrick Lamar, the most critically acclaimed rapper of the last ten years, is ranked number one, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to many. A total of six times is Kendrick included on Spotify’s list. He appears on three different artists’ songs as a featured artist. The songs “King’s Dead” by Jay Rock, “Family Ties” by Baby Keem, and “Goosebumps” by Travis Scott are ranked 59, 35, and 13 respectively.

Included in the list are three of Kendrick’s own songs. “DNA” debuted at number 28 and “HUMBLE” at number 16, respectively, dropping two DAMN singles in the top thirty. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment is his anthem of endurance, “Alright.” On their countdown, the song is ranked first. Lil Uzi Vert’s XO Tour Lif3, Drake’s “God’s Plan,” Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” and Future’s “March Madness” are the other four songs that share a top 5 position.

Recently, Kendrick Lamar’s popularity on Spotify has increased even further. Because of his spat with Drake, he has amassed some remarkably outstanding streaming figures. That has even included smashing a couple streaming records that his rival had previously owned. Since the beef started back in April, his whole streaming portfolio has experienced a steady increase in popularity.
