Kendrick Lamar’s Best Albums Can Now Be Ranked By Fans Thanks To A New Feature On Spotify

Users of Spotify have the option to rank and share their top five Kendrick Lamar albums on social media. With the new feature, fans can express their affection for the Pulitzer Prize–winning artist through an engaging in-app experience.

The Spotify app’s artist profile for Kendrick Lamar can be used to access the feature, which is officially titled “My Top 5: Kendrick Lamar Projects.” Overly Dedicated, Section.80, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, To Pimp a Butterfly, Untitled Unmastered, Damn, and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers are among the alternatives available.

Lamar and Spotify just collaborated to make a short video on his journey to Ghana earlier this year. Sounwave, Lamar’s longtime producer, admitted to Complex that he had a different favorite record every day while talking about his favorite of Lamar’s albums.

“At the moment, I want to say Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” he said, earlier this month. “It changes, though. One day it’s Section.80, the next day it’s good kid, m.A.A.d city. Next day, it’s To Pimp a Butterfly. But just at this very moment, it’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.”

In addition, Sounwave acknowledged that he and Lamar are already working on a follow-up to Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, but he gave no other information. See the new Spotify feature below.
