Khaid Talks To US Rapper, Lil Durk About His Hopes To Be Bigger Than Wizkid

A recent interaction between American rap sensation Lil Durk and the promising young Nigerian vocalist Khaid was interesting. During their video call, Lil Durk questioned the “With You” singer on his belief that he will surpass Afrobeats superstar Wizkid. However, in a now-viral video, Khaid expressed his optimism that Khaid will eventually reach that stage in his profession.

Khaid, a Neville Records artist under Sydney Talker, was thrilled to have the opportunity to speak with the Grammy-nominated performer as he keeps building his fan base and resume of hits. The young budding superstar has been enjoying the wild success of his joint effort with Boy Spyce, one of Mavin’s newest and finest signees, on their smash hit “Carry Me Go.”

Right before the release of that collaborative hit, Khaid already had his foot on the pedal with the romantic “Jolie,” released during Valentine’s season, which helped boost its appeal and demand. With a debut EP as successful and out-of-the-box as “Diversity,” it’s unsurprising that Khaid has aspirations larger than life. For a newbie, the shleet gang leader has been doing pretty good for himself, and the numbers are there to show.

However, with how friendly Khaid and Durko seemed in the footage below, we hope something fiery is in the works or is in talks.
