Legendary, P-Square’s Reveals The Title Of Their Comeback Album
After reuniting in 2022, Nigerian music legends Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square have now revealed the title of their comeback album. Their first album since their reunion is called “Legendary,” Peter Okoye, aka Mr. P, disclosed in a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, February 14. The new remix of their 2005 hit song Temptation can be heard in a video that Mr. P posted. P-Square’s “Get Squared,” their second studio album, was released in 2005 and featured the popular song “Temptation.”
Mr. P’s announcement tends to lighten the mood after he was recently involved in a spat with Seun Kuti, a saxophonist and son of late Nigerian music legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The bone of disagreement originated from the fact that throughout In an interview with the online platform Mic On podcast, presented by Channels TV’s Seun Okinbaloye, Mr. Kuti stated that only Nigerians could save the country.
Seun Kuti, one of the sons of the late great afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, also declared that Peter Obi cannot save the country, labeling the LP’s presidential candidate as an opportunist. Responding to the saxophonist’s remark, Paul Okoye, a passionate supporter of Peter Obi, stated that Seun Kuti had “just erased his father’s history.”
