Liam Gallagher Of Oasis Is Purchasing A $3.5 Million Home Close To One Of His Greatest Rivals

According to rumors, Liam Gallagher will be purchasing a £3.5 million country estate close to erstwhile Blur rival Alex James. The 50-year-old Oasis legend is rumored to be joining the famous “Chipping Norton set” after seeing the town of Oxfordshire. Alex, who owns a nearby farm, famously competed with Blur’s Country House for the top spot against Oasis’ Roll With It.

The Beckhams, Amanda Holden, Jeremy Clarkson, and other famous people also reside in the neighborhood. The sole £3.5 million home for sale in the neighborhood is described as a “extremely private” five-bedroom, three-bathroom home on the website of estate company Savills.

The 5,042 square foot, grade II-listed manor house from the 15th century is located just off the town square. It has a dated yet intricately constructed appearance, lots of garden space, and a Roman-style pool.

In 2020, Liam shared on Facebook: “I can see myself retiring in a wigwam. I bought one years ago when I lived in Henley, but it’s f***ed because a deer got in it and couldn’t get out. I’ve come back to the house one day and there was this f***ing commotion going on.”

Now an avid runner, he just disclosed that he has arthritis, which causes him tremendous agony and likely necessitates hip replacement surgery.
