Lil Yachty Debuts New OVO Owl Tattoo, Gets Drake’s Approval
On Tuesday, August 23, Lil Yachty turned 25. Thanks to his affluent friend, Drake, he had the birthday of a lifetime. Yachty received the royal treatment on his special day from the 6 God, who even gave him a ride on his fabled own plane, the “Air Drake.” Yachty shared videos with Drizzy from their day together for his 10.3 million followers, writing in the caption, “biG brO sAiD i dOnT gOtTa fLy dElTa nMorRe.”

The rapper’s post-birthday behavior suggests that his day with Drake was a day well spent. The next day, Yachty shared a photo of his new OVO Owl tattoo on social media, which was influenced by Drizzy’s label and group, October’s Very Own. Drake didn’t appear to mind the tattooed tribute to his squad.
Champagne Papi was one of the first people to click the like button soon after DJ Akademiks uploaded a picture of Yachty’s new tattoo. Drake gave the Atlanta rapper a lovely birthday message on his Instagram account as well, writing, “More life to my brother @lilyachty. So happy we are locked in for this lifetime.”
Respect and loyalty have always been the foundations of Yachty and Drake’s relationship. The 25-year-old commended the Canadian rapper back in June for composing his verse on Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” in only 11 minutes.
