Lizzo Joins Harry Styles On Stage For Surprise Duets At Coachella Weekend 2

Lizzo banded with Harry Styles on stage during his Coachella Weekend 2 headlining set for a superb cover to Gloria Gaynor’s classic, “I Will Survive” and also for a One Direction fan-favorite, “What Makes You Beautiful.”

Looking gorgeous in colorful feathered boas, Lizzo hit the stage for the Gloria Gaynor hit, strutting alongside Styles as they dished out the female empowerment anthem. They, afterwards, segued to One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” celebrating its 10th-year anniversary.

Prior to the joint performance, Lizzo, on Friday, had teased her appearance at the festival on TikTok by putting her own little twist on the app’s most recent meme of a girl hitting her hip on the side of a bed and screaming in pain, and in perfect pitch. “I’m bored otw to Coachella,” Lizzo had written in the caption, which made fans lose it, speculating that she just might appear alongside Styles.

Lizzo’s Coachella cameo follows the release of her new single, “About Damn Time”, last week, which comes after her stint on “Saturday Night Live”, playing double duty as the host and musical guest. On the other hand, Styles, last weekend at Coachella, brought out Shania Twain for a duet to her 1999 hit, “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” together with 1997’s “You’re Still the One.”
