Lojay Talks Relationships And His Music; Says “Many Women Have Caused Me Heartache”
Lekan Osifeso Jnr, better known as Lojay, is a well-known musician from Nigeria. He has admitted that he has suffered several heartbreaks at the hands of women. He spoke about his unpleasant experience with love on a recent episode of the journalist Moni Osibodu’s podcast Moni Talks. The singer of hit songs “Monalisa” and, most recently, “Moto” from his just released new project, declared that despite having had his heart shattered several times, he is and always will be a romantic.
He also communicated his discontent with himself in these circumstances because he felt inadequate and had many self-doubts like everyone in such situations. Nevertheless, he insists that he will still be a romantic because that is who he is at his core, despite the terrible conclusion to the relationship.
The singer said.
“I’m a romantic guy,” “I’ve always been a romantic at heart. That, I don’t believe, will alter. At the same time, [in] the space in which I currently live, I have been given breakfast [heartbreak] numerous times. I ended my relationship with someone because I had feelings for someone else, and that person didn’t like me. Normally, I’m the type of person who is more vulnerable. I’m the type of person who wears my heart on my sleeve, especially when I’m in love with someone. But I recently discovered that it is not working in my favor.”
