Metro Boomin’s mother was killed by her own partner, delivering heartbreaking news to the hip-hop community just a couple of weekends ago. Leslie Wayne was murdered by a guy who later committed himself, and the case is still under investigation.

Metro has previously stated that his mother used to drive him from St. Louis to Atlanta solely so that he could work with a range of artists. She was his rock, and her death has left an indelible mark on him and his entire family.
Metro took to Instagram today to share some details regarding his mother’s funeral service with his followers. It will take place on Saturday, June 18th, and there will be a dress code that includes cream suits and church hats, according to him.
“My Mother’s service is Saturday and the dress code is all cream attire and ladies please wear church hats,” explained Metro. “Text or DM me for info if you would like to come celebrate the life of my queen.”
