Migos Are Still Together After The Governor’s Ball Was Canceled, According To A Label Rep.

The fact that the Migos will not be performing at the Governors Ball in New York City this year did nothing to dispel the split rumors that have been swirling since Quavo, Offset, and Cardi B unfollowed each other last month on social media.

Q and Takeoff released “Hotel Lobby,” a collaboration single that many (including DJ Akademiks) believe was the reason for all of the trouble. We haven’t heard much from Migos since then, until today.

“Due to circumstances out of our control Migos are no longer performing at Gov Ball,” the event’s official account tweeted this morning, soon after disclosing that the trio would be replaced by Lil Wayne, further fueling speculation of a possible breakup.

But don’t worry: a source for the “MotorSport” hitmakers’ label told TMZ that the show was canceled due to Quavo’s schedule, not any problems within the rap trio. “The reason the group is no longer performing at this week’s Governors Ball is because Quavo is busy filming a movie, and they couldn’t work around the schedule conflict,” stated the outlet.

Headliners Kid Cudi, Halsey, and J. Cole (who will also headline Day N Vegas in September) are among the artists appearing this year, as are Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Skepta, Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, Kaytranada, and Jazmine Sullivan.
