Naira Marley’s Marlian Music Unveils New Signee Vusic With Hot Snippet
If you know Naira Marley, you know he has an eye for breakout talents, evidenced by his discovery of Zinoleesky and the now estranged Mohbad. This time, the CEO and founder of Marlian Music has set his sights on Vusic as he continues investing in today’s and tomorrow’s music.
Naira Marley’s Marlian movement will continue to grow in popularity after conquering the Afrobeats mainstream in 2019 and connecting with young Nigerians all around the nation, especially with his sensual lyrics and “youthful indulgence” activities that have made him a favorite amongst them. Following this, the new talent joining Naira Marley’s record company was announced On June 6, 2023, as Naira revealed this information on social media.

The signee’s name is Vusic, and in the video that Naira Marley shared, the newcomer can be seen singing along to what is probably going to be his debut song. On the Marlian Records roster, Vusic will join street-pop sensation Zinoleesky and Naira Marley to build on the success of the label’s current talents.

The signing of Vusic follows the departure of Mohbad from Marlian Music. Having accused Marlian Music and Naira Marley of assault, Mohbad had bad blood with the record company and had departed in undesirable conditions. In addition, he claimed that despite achieving some big singles and being signed, the label had not given him any royalties. With the signing of a new artist, Mohbad would be trying to continue to exercise his influence on the Nigerian street music scene, notwithstanding Naira Marley’s denial of Mohbad’s claim. He seemed to have put that incident behind him.
