Naomi Wild and Tempest are quite the pair this year. Out today, the duo’s new single “HOW U FEELIN” is a sweetly catchy track with a pop and electric flair. The girls show gusto while confronting relationship issues and misunderstandings head-on. The track finds Wild and Tempest enmeshing harmonies, using their penchant for laid-back tempos and sultry instrumentals to draw out every melody.

“HOW U FEELIN” follows their previously released collaborative single “So Gone” which gained praise from The Joe Budden Podcast, LA WEEKLY, and UPROXX. The fast-rising Los Angeles artist and friend Tempest have garnered the attention of media and fashion-forward influencers such as Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Nessa Barrett on Tiktok.
Wild shares, “The song started with a sample I made years ago with my good friend and incredible engineer Keith, who passed away last year. Tempest and I went on a writing retreat in Florida where I brought that sample up, and we built around it – coming to the conclusion that the song is this back-and-forth conversation of misunderstanding. I remember being in a relationship where I realized they didn’t actually know anything about me or didn’t care about the details, but I later found myself guilty of having done the same to someone else. I think everything I write is double-sided. A lot of these conversations I reference in my song are often just internal ones with myself. I wanna dedicate this song to Keith, one of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve ever met.”
