Doja Cat and Post Malone collaborate on a daring new music video.
On Monday, the musician debuted the official music video for his single “I Like You (A Happier Song).” In the heartwarming movie, a variety of couples are seen sharing love in a flower field, including two angels, an elderly woman holding a cupcake, a young girl observing two ladybugs, and countless same-sex couples.
Malone transforms his painting of Doja Cat into reality in a story reminiscent of Pygmalion; at the end, they hug and dance together in the same field. However, Doja Cat’s muse rushes into the field topless with a mosaic covering her chest. The rapper contributes her skills to the video as well, spitting some bars for the upbeat song.
The two performers’ first joint effort, “I Like You (A Happier Song),” premiered and reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to the site. It’s Malone’s eleventh top-10 hit and Doja Cat’s sixth. Malone’s album Twelve Carat Toothache has the song as its third single.
In addition to announcing his engagement to his longtime partner, the musician recently became a parent. Have a look at the colorful, fun music video right below.
