New Release: Shatta Wale Returns With Commanding Album ‘MAALI’

With ten songs of hard-hitting Dancehall cuts, Shatta Wale shows off his talent. The Caribbean music’s steamy and heart-pumping rhythm is offered by “MAALI.” Shatta Wale, the “Dancehall King,” has disclosed that he produced, mixed, and mastered his “Maali” record. The “On God” singer revealed he mixed, made, and got the album alone in a post on Twitter on Friday, March 31.

The ten-track project has 32 minutes and 57 seconds playtime and was released by Shatta Movement Records/Damaka Group of Companies on March 30. The new album, “MAALI” (Me Alone And Life Ironies), includes Vybz Kartel, a prominent reggae artist from Jamaica, as the only feature.

As the release date for Stonebwoy’s “5th Dimension” also approaches, fans eagerly await the project release from other Ghanaian superstars. However, fans will be in for a treat as Shatta Wale, known for giving spirited performances at his concerts, has arrived in Kenya to promote the record.
