Nicki Minaj Goes Subliminal: “I Thought The New Btchs Just Do Tweets & Interviews”

Nicki Minaj pulled a surprising stunt recently by sending out an open invitation to all rappers worldwide to jump on the beat of her newest single, We Go Up, to showcase their various spitting prowess which might, in turn, land them on the remix of the hit single that originally features talented New York drill rapper, Fivio Foreign.

It won’t be very far from the truth to say that Minaj and her team have been fielding an unending amount of applications, including Akbar V who also shared a snippet of her potentials on the track. The Shade Room reposted the clip of Akbar dropping the bars which ended up nabbing Nicki’s attention. And it sure looked like that moment was a “1 stone, 2 birds” situation for the barbie queen, as she seized the opportunity to subliminally address some controversies.

“Oh ok. Btches still rap?” questioned Minaj. “I thought the new btchs just do tweets & interviews. Waiting on the ghost & I ain’t talkin bout Casper. I ain’t talkin bout a btch car either dont GAS [gas pump emoji] HER. [fire emojis] My bad. Let’s go akbar.” In her caption, Minaj added, “Say the word & I’ll [ghost emoji] spook u btchs. Tmrw y’all ? Don’t play.”

Now, many believe she was taking shots at Erica Banks. Many might actually have a point there.
