Nicki Minaj Reveals Fivio Foreign Offered Her A Feature Spot On "What’s My Name"

Nicki Minaj and Fivio Foreign cooked up a massive hit with “We Go Up,” but it would stun you to learn that the New York-born rapper did actually offer the Queen Barb a spot on his “What’s My Name” track?

The song appears on Fivio’s debút B.I.B.L.E. album, released April 8th, including features from Queen Naija and Coi Leray. The three-minute and 21-second record also samples Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name,” quickly emerging as a fan fave.

After the drill rapper shared a celebratory post for his song with Nicki, the “Beam Me Up Scotty” recording artist slid into the comment section to drop a few words. “The [fact that] you asked me to get on ‘Say My Name’ months ago, now even that’s [f*cking] outta here!!! YIKES. CONGRATULATIONS,” she wrote, disclosing that she could’ve been a feature on the popular track.

In yet another comment, Nicki added, “Fivi n*ggaz ain’t even drop a bag on this song yet. No YouTube countdown/promo. No radio. No playlisting. You a real one. It’s [Up!] ,” before she went on to address the length of their joint record.

“As tempted as I was to make it a 2-3 minute song, nah man. [F*ck that] . All genuine love from the PEOPLE!!!” she continued.
