With her consecutive song releases, Nicki Minaj has been on a rampage. The mother of one hasn’t given her fans a chance to catch their breath since releasing “Super Freaky Girl” and its “Queenmix” less than a month ago. The world needs to get ready for yet another single, she announced in her most recent Instagram post.
Rapper Yung Bleu has been attempting to get a record with the 39-year-old for more than a year, and the opportunity has suddenly presented itself. Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, better known as Nicki, hinted to their collaboration on Instagram back in August. She wrote, “This song I just did with Bleu.”
To maintain the momentum, Bleu took a screenshot of her article and tweeted it to his 1.5 million followers with the following message: “[smiling devil emoji] BOUT THAT TIME @nickiminaj.”
Social media users expressed excitement and eagerness after their exchange, and those same feelings are now returning to them. Nicki posted a photo of herself and Bleu earlier on Sunday (September 11) on Instagram. They appeared to have recorded visuals for the single as they each stood in front of a bronze background while donning different clothes.
“#LoveInTheWay [FRIDAY] @bleuvandross [fire emojis] ,” was the caption of her post, which has already received over 500,000 likes.
