Nicki Minaj Teases Visual To “We Go Up,” As She Celebrates “Beam Me Up Scotty” Anniversary

After the release of Nicki Minaj’s “We Go Up” featuring drill rapper, Fivio Foreign, the buzz started in its wake just wouldn’t let up.

Fivio recently put out his major-label debut B.I.B.L.E., and regardless of the fact that a couple of his peers had unwarranted, stale jokes for his first-week sales, the rapper continues to receive praises from fans.

Fivio is one of those artists who fought and successfully made it out of the rap underground scene to share stages and work with music legends like Alicia Keys and Kanye West. In this still-burgeoning era of his music career, kind OGs like Nicki Minaj have also been pretty supportive. Early on Monday (April 18), the barbie queen teased the visual for the song, enquiring from fans if they should go on to drop the visual.

However, this wasn’t the only reason for the hype from Minaj’s camp. She is also seizing the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of Beam Me Up Scotty, her mixtape that saw its first release 13 years ago.

A post re-shared by Minaj to her platform states: “After it’s re-issue in 2020 it became the highest ever charting re-released hip hop project ever and the highest charting female mixtape of all time, debuting at #2 with over 80k sold! [crown emoji] .”
