Nigerian Comedian, Woli Agba’s Home Invaded By Robbers; Celebrities, Netizens React

On Wednesday night, armed robbers broke into the home of Ayo Ajewole, a comedian better known by his stage name Woli Agba. As many may know, falling into the hands of such criminals can result in worse-case scenarios, but no harm was recorded on this occasion.

Woli Agba praised God for protecting him and his family as he confirmed the incident on Thursday via his Instagram page. He urged his fans to praise God for his life and mentioned that nobody else was hurt in the incident.

Ajewole announced the incident on his Instagram account, @woliagba ayoajewole, where he is well renowned for his funny comedy based on portraying the part of a prophet. He thanked God that he and his family were safe and unharmed, albeit he did not mention whether anything of value had been taken.

He wrote:

“Armed robbers invaded my house. God kept my family and me. Life wasn’t taken. I’m grateful to God. And this is my testimony. I was not taken away suddenly. Help me praise God! Give God praise on my behalf, my people.”

Fans and other colleagues in the industry have posted prayers and well wishes in the comedian’s comment area.
