Kizz Daniel, a well-known musician from Nigeria, has recently announced that his former label boss, Emperor Geezy, will be taking over as the new CEO of his record label, Flyboy Inc. In a statement, Kizz Daniel stated that he had resigned from the CEO position and had entrusted Emperor Geezy to lead the company.
You may remember that Kizz Daniel initially gained fame under the guidance of Emperor Geezy, the founder of G-Worldwide Entertainment. Together, they released his debut album, which included popular songs like “Woju” and “Laye,” propelling him to stardom. However, in 2017, Kizz Daniel’s relationship with G-Worldwide Entertainment turned sour, resulting in a highly publicized legal battle over his contract. His departure from Emperor Geezy’s label caused a stir on social media. In the same year, Kizz Daniel left G-Worldwide after a contract dispute that led to court cases and a name change from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel. Eventually, he left the label and formed his own, Flyboy Inc.
In a recent interview on Way Up With Angela Yee on New York’s Power 105.1 FM, Kizz Daniel announced that he had relinquished his position as CEO of Flyboy Inc. He also revealed that he had appointed Emperor Geezy as his successor. Furthermore, Kizz Daniel disclosed that his music label had signed a new artist, Pryme.
