Nonso Amadi Features Zinoleesky On ‘Lock Up’; Netizens React
Zinoleesky is a featured artist on “Lock Up,” the latest single from Nonso Amadi’s upcoming debut album, “WHEN IT BLOOMS.” Indeed, most Netizens and music lovers didn’t anticipate this partnership, making it one of the most unexpected in the Afrobeat Space.
Nigerian singer-songwriter Nonso Amadi, who now resides in Canada, announced the release of his eagerly awaited first album with a new song ‘Lock Up’ and Zinoleesky, the rising star and one of the frontmen of Marlian Music, is included. Nonso Amadi and P. Prime jointly produced the song.
Nonso Amadi plays the obstinate side character on “Lock Up,” who refuses to give up on his love interest even though she already has a partner. With his seductive vocals, Zinoleesky lends support to the situation, singing lines like “tell your guy make him lock up, say the main man don come, e no go make sense if him fvck up” over the song’s harmonious instrumental accompaniment.

Throughout his professional career first year, he has attracted international notice and worked with musicians like Banky W., Maleek Berry, and Juls. He performed at his first “Homecoming Concert” in Nigeria in December 2017. He jointly released the EP WAR with vocalist Odunsi the engine. Amadi collaborated with Mr. Eazi and Simi on the Free solo EP published in 2019.
After a three-year absence, Nonso Amadi returned to the music industry in 2022 with the release of two new singles, Foreigner and Different, which featured the Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan.
