This is coming couple of days after Takeoff and Quavo released a new song of theirs, “Hotel Lobby.” Although the trio have always maintained their solo careers even while they were together as a group, the recent announcements of individual public approval or celebration from other members of the group could yet indicate that are indeed not well within the group.
While none of the members of Migos have officially addressed the future of the group, there is little the doubt about the intention of Takeoff and Quavo to rebrand the group after flying the “Uncle and Phew” label in the recently released joint project.
While it the group plots the best way forward for the trio, Offset appears to be moving on with his solo career as he previews new body of work on Instagram. In the snippet, Offset is seen flowing over some aggressive trap production as he tells a story of how he’s risen from nobody to a millionaire. The rapper has however not said anything about the status of the projects or their release dates.
While it might yet the latest snippet from Offset is an indication that members of the group are going their separate ways, a friend of the group, DJ Akademiks has dismissed the rumours. Speaking in a recent interview with TMZ, the YouTuber explained that the group is only going through a difficult time presently, and each member is dealing with it differently. Confirming that the group members are well aware of the rumours, he explained that not talking about the rumours is the path Migos have chosen to address them, while they work out their differences.
