Omah Lay Reacts To A Fan’s Plea To Stop Touching Women’s Waists In Music Videos

Omah Lay has been making waves in Nigeria’s music business with his distinctive voice and catchy beats. However, the famed Nigerian musician recently received a special request from a fan on Twitter under the handle Queen Busayo. She requested that Omah Lay cease grabbing women by the waist in his music videos because she would feel envious every time she watched his videos and saw him doing it.

Omah Lay could ignore the fan’s request, but he responded by speaking modestly with a touch of underlying sarcasm, just so a dear fan could sleep well at night.

The plea from a crushing fan comes a week after Lay joined Cameroonian singer Libianca on her smash hit “People” alongside Mavin’s gen-z princess Ayra Starr. And just like in all his outstanding features of the past, he brought the juice and the vibe. He has also been working on new music for his fans and should be releasing the deluxe edition of his hit debut record “Boy Alone” soon, as he recently announced.

Omah also recently appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, performing a set of classic tunes. Though he seemed to struggle a bit, like there was no proper rehearsal with his band and backup singers, he still controlled the situation and delivered a great live performance.
