Oritsefemi Reflects On Housing Burna Boy After A Heated Conflict With His Mother

Street-pop sensation and Nigerian hit-maker, Abiodun Majemite Ekele, also known as Oritsefemi, recently went on Chude Jideonwo’s chat program to spill a lot of beans.

Oritsefemi talked about how, when Burna Boy was having significant problems with his mother, he stood up for him. He explained how Burna Boy moved in with him for several months as a means of eluding his mother. Days prior to this interview, Burna Boy had revealed in a live video which older artists he considers his ‘OGs’ and thanked them for supporting him in his time of need.

However, Burna Boy never said nothing about Oritsefemi at all throughout the Instagram live session. The Double Wahala singer explained to Chude why Burna Boy left his house to remain with him during their talk. He mentioned that the singer felt like his mother was suffocating him and that the only place he felt comfortable was at home.

After a misunderstanding, Burna Boy fired his mother as his manager back in 2014. The artist declared on July 11, 2014, that his mother will no longer be serving as his manager via his X (formerly Twitter) page. But since 2017, she went back to managing him again.

Oritsefemi also talked about his wife Nabila and how he supported her through her miscarriages during this same conversation. He disclosed that his former spouse experienced 21 miscarriages, but he still chose to stand by her.
