OrlandoMagicUK: Burna Boy Shows Up For Club, Gifted A Jersey

Nigerian singer Burna Bloy was on the ground to watch an Orlando Magic game in the United Kingdom yesterday night and got a shoutout from the NBU UK.

In a clip that has been viewed over 114k times, the club’s mascot is seen giving the Nigerian singer the club’s jersey and then posing for a photograph with him. The songster appeared pleased with the gift.

In one of the moments of that evening, after receiving the jersey and posing with the mascot, the Nigerian had shown it off while the cameras clicked away. The reactions to the tweet showed that his compatriots were just as pleased with the moment and what he was gifted. You can check out the clip below.

Last we checked, the Nigerian had not said anything about the moment in the United Kingdom. His last post showed his pleasure to be in Dublin, Ireland, for a performance at 3Arena.

Burna Boy, who recently released a documentary on Port Harcourt dubbed Whiskey, is one of Nigeria’s notable musicians and, in his own estimation, the “African Giant.”

The reference is, of course, partly to his album of the same title. But then, there is no denying that he has earned his stripes as a musician and as a person.
