P-Square Is Planning To Release Their First Album Since Their Reconciliation

The iconic singing duo, P-Square, is gearing up to have their fans on their dancing feet again with the release of a new album! You read that right. Breaking the news on Twitter, Peter, one of the Okoye twins, gave a little rundown of their initial reconciliatory game plan. First, he said the strategy was not to drop any projects but to go on a world tour performing their old classic hits, which panned out because, in his words, they “cashed and sold out.”

Next in line, according to the singer, is to roll out a new body of work this year. This strategy he called “Igbo Sense.”

About five years ago, the Okoye twins parted ways, and their older brother, Jude Okoye’s position as manager, is claimed to have caused a rift that led to the split. Paul disclosed in June that a family-related issue, not a musical one, was why P-Square broke up. However, they resolved their nearly five-year conflict in November 2021. Later that year, in December, the team performed at their first headlining show after dropping two new singles, “Jaiye (Ihe G’eme)” and “Find Somebody.”

The former picked up and became an instant banger, with an accompanying TG Omori-directed music video. So now we can only anticipate a compendium of smash hits on the promised forthcoming record.
