Patti LaBelle Shares Little-Known Aspects Of Her Life In Drink Champs Interview

Ever since its debut,  Drink Champs have been giving fans premium entertainment. Many iconic figures have popped on the show and given fans little-known aspects of themselves and their careers. The latest to make it on the show is Patti LaBelle.

Fondly called “Godmother of Soul,” Patti shared a lot about herself on the show, revealing once again why she’s such an iconic figure and loved across the world.

Drink Champs had shared a teaser episode which showed the celebrated singer referencing lyrics from Noreaga’s “Superthug” song, as well as joking about weed. Viewers were charmed by those and welcomed them heartily.

Patti LaBelle touched on many aspects of her life and those of other musicians, including her contemporaries, some of whom are no longer on the material plane.

At the end of the show, she would indicate the experience was cathartic – she said more than what she should. But hey, it was worth it, and she didn’t care. You can check out the teaser below.

Patricia Louise Holte, long famous simply as Patti LaBelle, was born on 24 May 1944. In the course of her career, the American actress and singer had fiddled with several genres, including gospel, R&B, soul, and pop.
