The Nigerian superstar Fireboy, signed to YBNL Records, made history when his song sold more than a million copies in the US. The fact that a Nigerian lead artist has received the first RIAA platinum plaque shows how well-liked Afrobeats are becoming worldwide. On July 21st, 2021, the single Peru was published, quickly becoming a hit in Nigeria.
It swiftly rose to the top of the charts and won over the hearts of the Nigerian people thanks to its endearing melodies and accessible lyrics.
