Famous Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, has turned to social media to reveal his discoveries after discovering a fraudster posing as him. The musician posted a video of the conman defrauding individuals during a video conversation on his Instagram page. Several of Peter’s admirers and fellow celebrities expressed amazement at the video and the fraudster’s actions. It has been gathered that the police have arraigned several suspects.

Peter PSquare Okoye, a Nigerian Afrobeats musician, has spoken out after becoming a target of con artists who pose as him to defraud others. The musician demonstrated to his followers how they often behave in a video conversation with one of the con artist’s victims on his official Instagram page.

While conversing with the musician on the call, the fraudster’s victim attempted to call back to the scammer to show the singer how he functioned. The fraudster utilizes an old video clip of the celebrity to pose as him when making video calls to his targets.

Since Mr. P recorded the incident on video when the fraudster called again, feigning to be the singer and even stating he had a gig to get to, unaware that he had been exposed, it was no different in this situation as the format was the same as he suspected. Again, the fraudster used the singer’s picture to deceive others; his speech and video did not coincide and were distorted.

In the caption of the post, the music star wrote:

They Fraudsters insert my old videos in front of you and start communicating with you in the background! Pls, let’s be guided!”
