Peter Okoye Slams Critics Coming For Him After Kissing A Female Fan In A Show
Mr. P, also known as Peter Okoye and is one-half of the musical duo P-square, recently slammed those who have continued attacking him for kissing a female fan while on tour in Amsterdam last year.
A scene from the event that became viral shows the singer getting into the mood as they sang their hit song, “Beautiful Oyinye,” and later, “Azonto.” In a video that has gone viral on social media, the artist can be seen leaping off the stage while performing at his event in Amsterdam.
The musician made a beeline for a group of women in the front row who were thrilled to see him as soon as he exited the stage. One of the women turned her cheek toward Peter as he approached and tried to kiss her. He made sure to give her another kiss despite her attempts to shake him off. Later, the camera captured the woman’s awkward laughter.
His actions garnered criticism online; many people called it a rude gesture toward his wife. However, This will not be the first time Peter Okoye has made news due to his questionable associations with female admirers.
The Singer, on his part, defended his deeds. He questioned why his wife and personal family were not criticizing him for the behavior, yet he was being criticized for it on social media. In a tweet uploaded on Twitter, the singer responded to detractors by saying:
“But a lot of my female fans collect correct kisses last night for Amsterdam. Pls don’t be jealous! Just Doing My Job”
