Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, commonly known as Phyno, a Nigerian indigenous rapper, has spoken out about the viral rumors that he has Sickle Cell Anaemia. However, in a tweet on Wednesday, the Enugu State native was obliged to clarify. Ele Peter, a fan, claimed in a tweet that his affection for the singer tripled when she discovered he had sickle cell disease.

She wrote, “Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell the love tripled, I pray God grants him the strength to keep fighting.”

Responding to Ele’s remarks, Phyno wrote, “Lol. No, I do not have sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it though.”
