As a result of his collaborations with celebrities like Meek Mill, Lil Baby, and others, PNB Rock was steadily advancing toward being a favorite in the business. His ascent to the top was, regrettably, halted on Monday (September 12), when he was fatally shot inside a Los Angeles Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles.
After learning of the rapper’s unexpected passing, fans showered the late artist’s family with sympathy messages on social media. Following PNB’s murder, celebrities too used social media to express their opinions.
Nicki Minaj posted a worried tweet in which she wrote: “After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick.”
Following the discovery that Rock’s girlfriend had posted and tagged the restaurant where she and PNB were having lunch, Nicki sent out a tweet immediately after word of the rapper’s passing spread. Though a lot of admirers, including Kodak Black, are attributing the fatal shooting to the late rapper’s Instagram post, other people, like Cardi B, don’t agree.
“I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s babymom IG,” she tweeted.
