Police Reveals Iyanya Can Be Arrested After Violently Pushing Fan Off Stage

Iyanya is in the news again. The Superstar’s Career is facing somewhat of a resurgence, and he has been steadily climbing the ladder back up top.

But recently, he was in the news for negative reasons. First, he had an unpleasant encounter with a fan while on stage. And according to the law, the singer may be detained if the fans choose to pursue legal action.

Iyanya, a well-known stage name of Nigerian musician Iyanya Onoyom Mbuka, was accused of shoving a fan off the stage during a performance. During a concert in Awka, Anambra State, the artist aggressively threw a supporter off stage who was throwing money at him, accusing the supporter of disrespecting him.

A police spokesperson addressed the video, which became a hot topic on social media, and gave his executive point of view.

According to Iyanya, the fan was being disrespectful with his act of love as he was said to be ‘slapping’ the Star while spraying him Money and, despite all warnings to stop, refused to. Hence the resulting action that came into the news.

The Delta State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, claims in response to a Tweet that if the fan decides to make a formal report, Iyanya may be arrested. He stated:

Usually, if that guy makes an official report, @Iyanya can be charged for this. I come in peace.
